Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the U.S. for over ten seasons. She was part and was captain for the US Olympic Female Gymnastics Women's Team, The Fierce Five (2012) and Final Five (2016). In 2012 her year, she received gold at the team events and also the floor exercise. For the balance beam she received the bronze medal. In 2012, she became the very first American athlete to achieve the most number of medals at the Olympics. At the 2016, Olympics she won an Olympic gold medal in the team event that brought her as well as co-teammate Gabby Douglas the honor of having being among the few Americans to earn back-to-back team golds. Additionally, she won silver medals at the individual all-around event as well as for floor exercise. After the 2002 Olympics the gymnast was off for three years from gymnastics. She was also a part of the gold medal winning American team at two World Championships. She began learning gymnastics at the age of two and her most favorite sport is floor exercise. Aly has joined the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in memory of her grandmother. Aly hopes to achieve a successful career in the field of fashion. Leotards that she has designed along with socks and other garments will be expanded in the future. Fierce will be published at the end of summer.
